The Bloomington PrairieThunder scored three times in the second period after the Missouri Mavericks had taken a 1-0 lead and held on for a 3-2 win on Wednesday night in Independence, Missouri. Brian Kaufman, Jon Booras, and Craig Macdonald scored the PrairieThunder goals. For Booras and Macdonald, it was their first goals of the season. Booras' goal at 14:36 of the second period turned out to be the game winner. Bloomington goaltender Marco Emond stopped 23 of 25 shots for his sixth win of the season.

With the victory, Bloomington improves to 7-4-1 on the season while the Missouri Mavericks fall to 7-5-2. The PrairieThunder have two more road games this week before coming home on Sunday afternoon (November 28th) to host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at 3:05PM.

The U.S. Cellular Coliseum Box Office will be open with special Saturday hours this Saturday (11/27) from 10am to 2pm to facilitate ticket buyers for Sunday afternoon's game against Rio Grande Valley.
