EVANSVILLE, IN.--- On this Thanksgiving Eve, the Evansville IceMen, in concert with their exclusive radio flagship partner, WEOA-AM 1400, have made a major exciting announcement which has been greatly anticipated as the 2010-11 Central Hockey League season has unfolded.
Effective immediately, all IceMen game broadcasts, home and away, play-by-play, all the way will also be heard on the world-wide internet through WEOA-AM 1400 and the IceMen flagship radio station newly-created and recently-introduced world-wide web-site of "1400amweoa.com."
Since the inception of the current pro hockey season, all IceMen hockey fans have been tuned-in on their respective radios to WEOA-AM 1400 for all of the exciting and electrifying IceMen play-by-play action.
With this announcement today, IceMen hockey fans and, for that matter, all hockey fans around the world will now have ready access to Evansville pro hockey in-game action by simply visiting the WEOA-AM 1400 web-site at 1400amweoa.com and simply clicking the "LISTEN LIVE" button.
There will also be a special link established from the IceMen web-site of www.evansvilleicemen.com to the WEOA-AM 1400 web-site.
IceMen pro hockey fans and hockey fans all around the world can tune-in for the first time on the world-wide web at 1400amweoa.com beginning tomorrow night, Thanksgiving Night, when the IceMen make their first road excursion since November 9th, traveling to Dayton to be hosted by the Gems at venerable, historical Hara Arena for a 6:00 pm CST faceoff with broadcast time on both WEOA-AM 1400 and 1400amweoa.com being 5:30 pm.
The IceMen are embarking on an ambitious holiday week schedule consisting of 3-games in 3-nights with the latter two games to be played at the friendly climes and environs of their hockey home of Swonder Ice Arena. It's a rivalry game Friday night in another battle for the state of Indiana pro hockey brag flag as the IceMen tangle with Fort Wayne. Then, the Tulsa Oilers make their lone Evansville appearance in 2010-11on Saturday night at Swonder. Both home games have an opening face-off set for 7:30 pm.
