ABILENE, TX - The Prairie Dogs return home for a six game home stand with the Ft. Worth Cats Thursday August 9th through Wednesday the 15th. Thursday is Youth League Night and SuddenLink Employee Night, Friday is our Thunder Stix Giveaway presented by Taylor Electric and KLGD, Saturday is the Star Dealerships Jersey Auction presented by KXVA and Sunday is Bark at the Park and Dyess Air Force Base Night!
The month of August is presented by Farm Bureau Insurance. "August at the Ballpark" allows members of Texas Farm Bureau insurance to present proof of their membership at the Ticket office at Walt Driggers Field and get free tickets to that night's game. (While supplies last)

SuddenLink Employee Night/Youth League Night - The Dogs are happy to host the employees of SuddenLink at Walt Driggers Field. Kids can also wear their Youth League Jersey's to the game at get a $3 GA Ticket. The Prairie Dogs wear special jersey's during Thursday's game that will be available for purchase as part of our Star Dealerships Jersey Auction presented by KXVA Fox Abilene on Saturday August 11.
Friday August 10 vs Fort Worth Cats @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:00pm)
Thunder Stix Giveaway - The first 1,000 fans through the gate get a free pair of Thunder Stix presented by Taylor Electric and KLGD. The Prairie Dogs will wear special jersey's that will be available for purchase as part of our Star Dealerships Jersey Auction presented by KXVA Fox Abilene on Saturday August 11. After the game, Kids Run the Bases.
Saturday August 11 vs Fort Worth Cats @ 7:05pm (Gates open at 6:00pm)
Jersey Auction - Come out to Walt Driggers Field and bid on authentic, game worn Abilene Prairie Dogs jersey's presented by Star Dealerships and KXVA Fox Abilene. After the game, Kids Run the Bases.
Sunday August 12 vs Fort Worth Cats @ 6:05pm (Gates open at 5:00pm)
Dyess Air Force Base Night/Bark at the Park - The Prairie Dogs are proud to host members from Dyess Air Force Base as they present the nation's colors before the game. Military personnel can also purchase $3 GA ticket. Fans can bring their favorite four-legged friends with them to the ballpark (dogs enter free) and enjoy Sunday's game with their dog.
After an off day on Monday, the Dogs continue their home stand with the Ft. Worth Cats on Tuesday August 14th and Wednesday August 15th and finish the eight game series with the Cats at La Grave Field.
