The West Virginia Power lost 5-2 to the Lexington Legends on Saturday night. The Legends scored three runs in the second to help snap the Power's four game winning streak at Appalachian Power Park.

Alen Hanson led off the home half of the first with a triple. Hanson would later score on a fielder's choice for a 1-0 West Virginia lead. In the second, Ryan Hafner walked four of the first five batters and surrendered a two-run single to Delino DeShields Jr as the Power fell behind 3-1.

The Legends had a 4-1 lead after a solo home run by Luis Alvarez in the top of the fourth inning, but the Power matched that run in the bottom of the fourth. Francisco Aponte doubled with two outs and scored on a two base hit by Eric Avila.

Lexington would score the game's final run in the top of the eighth inning on a bases loaded walk. The Legends sent a minimum of four batters to the plate in every inning and left 16 men on base in the game.

Hafner (0-5) took the loss after allowing three runs on two hits, five walks, and a hit batter. Jonas Dufek (5-1) pitched six innings in the victory for Lexington, allowing two runs on seven hits. Carlos Quevedo pitched a scoreless ninth for his fourth save.

The Power and Legends will conclude this four game series on Sunday afternoon Appalachian Power Park. Zack Von Rosenberg will make the start at 2:05 pm for West Virginia against Lexington's Nick Tropeano.
