Kannapolis leads the all-time series 39-31, and holds a 19-17 edge at Appalachian Power Park. These clubs will meet for one more series later this year; a set scheduled for August 14 through 17 in Kannapolis.

Since his return to the rotation, Cumpton is 3-0 with a 1.62 ERA over 16 and two-thirds innings pitched

Vasquez matched Matt Curry, Justin Howard, and Kawika Emsley-Pai for the longest Power hitting streak this season. Vasquez batted .333 over his six game streak with a home run and eight runs batted in. He has also driven in at least one run in each of his last four games prior to Sunday.
