The Somerset Patriots were shut out by the Reading Fightin Phils 2-0 to snap their five-game win streak on Friday night in game four of a six-game series at TD Bank Ballpark. The Patriots honored the Negro Leagues' New York Black Yankees on Friday in front of 6,625 in attendance.

In their last ten games, Somerset's pitching staff has thrown to a 1.85 ERA with 110 K in 87.1 IP. Patriots' pitchers have struck out 10+ batters in six straight nine inning games.

RHP Cody Poteet (3.2 IP, 0 R, 0 H, 1 BB, 6 K) chucked 3.2 no-hit IP in his third start on MLB rehab assignment. Poteet was perfect through his first 3 IP with 5 K. Over three rehab starts for the Patriots, Poteet has hurled 9.1 IP, allowing 1 ER (0.96 ERA) on 5 H with 11 K and 1 BB.
