Modesto Nuts News Release
Modesto Nuts 2005 playoff tickets will go on sale on Friday, September 2nd, beginning at 9:00 a.m. in anticipation of the Nuts clinching the Northern Division wild card. Tickets can be purchased at the Modesto Nuts box office during normal business hours, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., via telephone with a credit card by calling (209) 572-HITS or online at www.modestonuts.com Post-season ticket prices will remain the same as regular season ticket prices.
The Modesto Nuts magic number is two entering the final five games of the regular season. Any combination of two Modesto wins or Bakersfield losses will clinch a playoff spot for the Nuts.
The 2005 Modesto Nuts post-season, presented by Jackson Rancheria, will begin with a best-of-three series against the Stockton Ports. Game one will be held at John Thurman Field on Wednesday, September 7th at 7:05 p.m. Gates will open at 6:00 p.m. Game two and three (if necessary) will be played in Stockton.
Complimentary general admission tickets can be picked up at Costco Wholesale on Pelandale Road and St. Stan's Pub and Restaurant on L Street in downtown Modesto.
