
66ers to host collection for hurricane relief

San bernardino, ca. - The Inland Empire 66ers Baseball Club of San Bernardino, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, will be hosting an American Red Cross disaster relief fund collection at Arrowhead Credit Union Park Sept. 2nd - 5th to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina. By making a financial gift to hurricane 2005 relief, the American Red Cross can provide shelter, food, counseling and other assistance to those in need. Donations to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund can be made with cash or check, made payable to the american red cross.
In support of the collection, the Inland Empire 66ers baseball club will be giving away a pair of tickets to one of our four games this weekend or on opening day of 2006. In addition, the 66ers will be auctioning off autographed game worn jersey's throughout the weekend and the proceeds will go directly to the American Red Cross disaster relief fund.
