Pigs Look for Second Straight Win

The Lehigh Valley IronPigs will look for their second straight win over the Norfolk Tides on Tuesday night. First pitch from Harbor Park is slated for 7:05 p.m.

RHP Jake Thompson (5-5, 3.18) gets the ball for the IronPigs on Tuesday. Thompson got a no-decision on Thursday vs. Gwinnett when he allowed one run on five hits while walking two and fanning four in 8.0 IP. Over his last 3 GS, the Dallas native is 2-0 with a 0.43 ERA and has allowed just one earned run in his last 21.0 IP.

LHP Andy Oliver (0-0, 2.08) gets the ball for manager Ron Johnson's squad opposite Thompson. Oliver's last start came on May 30 at Lehigh Valley when he received a no-decision after giving up four runs on three hits to go along with two walks and three strikeouts over three innings of work.

After driving home the go-ahead run with a two-out RBI single in the top of the 10th on Tuesday night, Pigs C Andrew Knapp is now hitting .367 with runners in scoring position this season. Knapp has also hit safely in 15 of his last 16 games and is hitting .329-1-8 (22-67, 3 2B, 5 BB, 11 R) over that span.
