
Bill Buckner VIP Tickets Available for Chiefs' Reopening Day

The Syracuse Chiefs' Reopening Day is around the corner, to be held this upcoming Saturday, June 25th, when the Chiefs take on the Toledo Mud Huns at 7:05 p.m at NBT Bank Stadium. Presented by NBT Bank, Reopening Day features an appearance from former MLB All-Star Bill Buckner, Boy Scout Night, and postgame fireworks.
Tickets for Bill Buckner's VIP session are on sale now and can be purchased by calling Arnold Malloy in the Chiefs' office at 315-474-7833. Only 75 VIP tickets for the event are available. These tickets are currently being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Prior to the game, Buckner will be available for a meet and greet in the Hank Sauer Room from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The VIP session will include autographs, photographs and conversation with Buckner. Also included in the price are a full buffet and a game ticket. VIP tickets for Buckner's event can be purchased for $100. Also, after throwing out the ceremonial first pitch, Buckner will sign autographs on the concourse from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m.
On Saturday, the first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a full size baseball bat, courtesy of NBT Bank. Reopening Day is also the third Super Pack night of the season. A Super Pack includes four reserved box tickets, vouchers for four Hofmann hot dogs, four Coca-Cola soft drinks, a tub of popcorn, and a merchandise coupon. An $80 value, Super Packs can be purchased for just $55 at either syracusechiefs.com, by calling 474-7833, or in person at the NBT Bank Stadium ticket office. Super Packs are limited to 100 total per game, and are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Also, prior to the start of the game, local Boy Scouts can participate in an on-field parade around the stadium, presented by NBT Bank. After the game, the Boy Scouts are open to campout on the outfield grass, accompanied by fireworks and a movie, on the stadium's video board.
Boy Scout night also includes a commemorative patch, a box reserved ticket, plus dinner and breakfast vouchers. The deadline to register is Wednesday, June 22nd at a cost of $25 per participant. To sign up, or for more information, call 474-7833 or email Arnold Malloy at amalloy@syracusechiefs.com.
Lastly, the night also features the announcement of lineups and rosters for both the Chiefs and Mud Hens in Opening Day fashion. A Super Saturday fireworks show will begin immediately following the conclusion of the game.
