
Phoenix Suns Assign Elie Okobo to NAZ Suns

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Phoenix Suns announced today they have assigned guard Elie Okobo to the Northern Arizona Suns.
One day after being recalled, the rookie has been assigned for the fourth time this year to the NBA G League. Okobo played for the Phoenix Suns last night against the Utah Jazz. He's now averaging 5.5 points, 2.5 assists and 1.8 rebounds in the NBA in 44 games (11 starts).
Okobo most recently played for the NAZ Suns on Tuesday. This season in the NBA G League, he's averaging 18.1 points, 7.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.4 steals (nine games, all starts).
The NAZ Suns next play Friday, the first of a home back-to-back set, against the Greensboro Swarm at 7 p.m. PT. Tickets are on sale at www.nazsuns.com/tickets.
