Phantoms Unveil Calder Cup Playoffs First Round Schedule
Lehigh Valley to Host Games 1 & 2 Next Friday and Saturday
April 15, 2017
Lehigh Valley, PA - The Calder Cup Playoffs are nearly here, it's time to Rally the Valley!
The Lehigh Valley Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, are pleased to announce the schedule for their opening round, best-of-five series with the Hershey Bears. The Phantoms, who earned home-ice advantage as a result of finishing second in the tightly-contested Atlantic Division, will open at PPL Center with Game 1 on Friday, April 21 at 7:05 p.m. followed by Game 2 on Saturday, April 22 at 7:05 p.m. If necessary, decisive Game 5 will then take place back in downtown Allentown on Sunday, April 30 at 5:05 p.m.

Game 3 - Wednesday, April 26, 7:00 p.m. - Giant Center
Game 4* - Saturday, April 29, 7:00 p.m. - Giant Center
Game 5* - Sunday, April 30, 5:05 p.m. - PPL Center

This is the Phantoms' 11th postseason appearance in franchise history and the Phantoms have captured two Calder Cup championships (1998, 2005) in the team's 20-year history.
Lehigh Valley posted a 7-4-1 mark in 12 regular season meetings with the Bears.

The Phantoms are coming off their 20th Anniversary Season and are in the midst of their third campaign in the Lehigh Valley playing at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Established in 1996, the Phantoms spent their first 13 seasons at the Spectrum in Philadelphia before re-locating to Glens Falls, New York in 2009 where the team spent the next five seasons as the Adirondack Phantoms. A new era of Phantoms hockey began in the fall of 2014 when the Lehigh Valley Phantoms began play at the state-of-the-art PPL Center. Through 20 incredibly successful campaigns, the Phantoms have captured two Calder Cup Championships (1998, 2005), two Conference Championships (1998, 2005), two Regular Season Titles (1996-97, 1997-98) and four Division Championships (1996-97, 1997-98, 1998-99, 2003-04).
