
Petes Continue Western Conference Road Trip with Third Straight Win

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes continued their Western Conference road trip with a 6-2 win over the Flint Firebirds, earning their third straight victory and second consecutive four-goal winning margin.
Zach Gallant (11) opened scoring for the Petes before the Firebirds scored twice to take their only lead of the game. Chris Paquette (27), Michael Little (10), Liam Kirk (21), Adam Timleck (21), and Chad Denault (9) scored unanswered goals for Peterborough.
Declan Chisholm recorded a career high four assists. Paquette and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev recorded two assists each, while Timleck, Matt McNamara, and Cameron Butler registered single helpers.
Petes goaltender Hunter Jones turned away 23 of 25 Flint shots. Peterborough led 33-25 on the shot clock. The Petes were 1/1 on the power play and 1/2 on the penalty kill.
The Petes wrap up their road trip on Sunday, March 3 at 5:30pm when they visit the Saginaw Spirit. They'll return to home ice to host the Kingston Frontenacs on Thursday, March 7 at 7:05pm.
