Perrault and Zimmerman Join Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (December 3, 2008) - San Antonio Rampage General Manager Brad Treliving announced today that the Phoenix Coyotes, the Rampage's National Hockey League affiliate, have loaned center Joel Perrault to the Rampage. The Coyotes have also reassigned defenseman Sean Zimmerman from the Arizona Sundogs of the Central Hockey League to the Rampage.

Perrault appeared in 28 games with the Rampage last season recording 14 goals and 13 assists. The 25-year-old split time between the Rampage and the Coyotes last season and recorded seven goals and 10 assists with the Coyotes in 2007-08.

The Montreal, Quebec native is a sixth year pro and has played in 204 career AHL games tallying 60 goals and 70 assists. He was selected by the Anaheim Mighty Ducks in the fifth round, 137th overall in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

Zimmerman has collected three assists in 20 games with the Sundogs so far this season. The Denver, Colorado native has appeared in 73 American Hockey League games between the Albany River Rats and Lowell Devils over the span of three seasons recording six assists and 53 penalty minutes.

The 21-year-old was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the sixth round, 170th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
