Houston Aeros sign Deitsch, Hamilton to PTO contracts

HOUSTON, Texas - Houston Aeros' General Manager Tom Lynn today announced the team has signed Mike Hamilton and re-signed Jason Deitsch to professional tryout (PTO) contracts.

Deitsch, 28 (4/21/80), played ten games with the Aeros tallying seven points (2 goals, 5 assists) and eight penalty minutes (PIM) earlier this season. The Cincinnati, OH, native has also played eight games with CHL Texas, recording 11 points (4 goals, 7 assists) and ten penalty minutes.

Hamilton, 25 (5/2/83), skated in 18 games with ECHL Las Vegas this season tallying four goals and six assists for ten points. The Victoria, BC, native played the 2007-08 season with the Gwinnett Gladiators where he tallied 50 points (23-27=50) in 72 games. He competed in eight Kelly Cup playoff games with Gwinnett prior to joining the Chicago Wolves (AHL) where he recorded one goal in six games as part of their their championship run. Hamilton will wear the #27 sweater with the Aeros.
