Published on December 3, 2008 under American Hockey League (AHL)
Cleveland Monsters News Release
Hockey fans will get the best of both worlds on Saturday, when The Q hosts both a college and professional hockey game in one day! The Ohio State University Buckeyes will play the Robert Morris Colonials at 4:00 p.m. this Saturday, prior to the Monsters hosting the Iowa Chops at 7:30 p.m. One ticket gets fans into both games.
The Buckeyes feature three local athletes: John Albert from Concord, Nick Biondo from Parma and Chris Reed from Solon.
At the Monsters game that night, the first 5,000 fans will receive a free t-shirt, courtesy of Tri-C. We will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of "Animal House," and the Monsters t-shirt is inspired by the infamous COLLEGE shirt from the movie.
