
Pens Clinch Playoff Spot; Whiteout T-Shirts on Sale Now

Tim Wallace scored twice in the third period, leading the Penguins to a 5-3 win over the Worcester Sharks on Saturday night, earning the team a spot in the Calder Cup Playoffs for the ninth straight season - and the 10th time in the team's 12 year existence.
The team recorded its 50th victory of the season the following afternoon, posting a 2-1 victory over the Charlotte Checkers.
The Penguins enter this week with the league's best record at 50-18-0-1, good for 101 points. The team's magic number to clinch the East Division title is 6 points on Hershey and 7 on Norfolk.
Playoff ticket packages are on sale now directly through the Penguins ticket offices, which can be reached by calling 208-7367.
Individual playoff tickets will go on sale on April 1 at 10:00am through all TicketMaster locations, online at ticketmaster.com, by calling 800-745-3000 or by stopping by the Mohegan Sun Aren a box office.
