
Canucks Recall Alexandre Bolduc

The Vancouver Canucks, the NHL affiliate of the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled centre Alexandre Bolduc.
Bolduc, 25, has played in 23 games this season for the Manitoba Moose recording 11 points (5g, 6a) and 22 penalty minutes. Bolduc began the season in Vancouver and has played 19 games with the Canucks. He scored his first NHL goal on Jan. 2/11 @ Colorado and has also collected two assists for three points and 19 penalty minutes. Bolduc has appeared in 41 career NHL games with Vancouver where he's collected four points (1g, 3a) and 36 penalty minutes. Bolduc has also played in 230 career AHL games with the Moose over the course of his six-year pro career. In that span, he's scored 103 points (44g, 59a) and collected 321 penalty minutes. He was awarded the team's Unsung Hero Award in 2008. He has also played in 24 career Calder Cup playoff games with Manitoba where he's scored 10 points (6g, 4a) and 28 penalty minutes.
Bolduc was originally drafted by St. Louis in the fourth round, 127th overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
