Fri., Jan. 30 - Penguins 5 at SPRINGFIELD 0

For the second time in as many games versus the Falcons this season, W-B/Scranton was able to score a 5-0 shutout victory. Rookie netminder Matt Murray made 28 saves to record his fourth shutout of the season.

Sat., Jan. 31 - PENGUINS 2 vs. Lehigh Valley 6

Despite jumping out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, the Penguins saw the Phantoms rattle off six straight goals en route to a 6-2 win that ended W-B/Scranton's four-game winning streak. Andrew Ebbett and Bryan Rust each collected two assists in the loss for the Penguins.

The Week Ahead

Tue., Feb. 3 - PENGUINS vs. Springfield

Springfield (26-15-4-0) is currently on a season-high six-game winless streak (0-5-1-0) and sits in third place in the Northeast Division. The Penguins' Bryan Rust leads all scorers in the season series with five points (3G-2A) in two games, while Matt Murray has stopped all 49 shots he faced.

Sat., Feb. 7 - Penguins at HERSHEY

The Bears (25-13-4-2) have used a 9-1-0-1 run since the beginning of 2015 to take over the top spot in the East Division. Hershey has three players tied for the AHL lead with 18 power play points: Stanislav Galiev (10G-8A), Connor Carrick (4G-14A) and Tim Kennedy (1G-17A).

Sat., Jan 24 - Penguins at BRIDGEPORT

Bridgeport (19-20-5-1) has fallen to fifth place in the Northeast after winning just once in its last eight contests. Former Penguin forward Harry Zolnierczyk is tied for first in the league with four shorthanded points (1G-3A). At 23.1%, the Sound Tigers have the AHL's best power play unit.

Ice Chips

- The Penguins tied a team season-high with their second four-game winning streak of the season (Jan. 21 - 30, 2015).

- The line of Bryan Rust, Scott Wilson and Andrew Ebbett have combined for 12 points (5G-7A) and a plus/minus rating of +8 over the last three games.

- Penguins forward Scott Wilson leads AHL rookies in plus/minus with a +15. He has also collected six goals in his last six games.

- Andrew Ebbett has recorded points in seven straight games dating back to Nov. 19 (3G-7A) and in 16 of 20 games overall this season.

- Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 28 third-period goals allowed this year are the second-fewest in the AHL.
