
'Dogs Look to Extend Season-High Winning Streak

Coming off back-to-back road wins over the Iowa Wild last week, the Hamilton Bulldogs carry a season-high, six-game winning streak into one home game and one away game this week. The last time Hamilton won six straight came between Dec. 26, 2013 and Jan. 10, 2014. The last time the 'Dogs had a winning streak longer than six games was a nine-game string from Feb. 19 to March 9, 2010.
On Friday, Feb. 6, the Bulldogs will host the Wild (American Hockey League affiliate of the Minnesota Wild) at FirstOntario Centre at 7:30 p.m. in the third of four contests between these two teams this season as well as the first of two in Hamilton. The 'Dogs are 2-0-0-0 against the Wild so far this season.
On Saturday, Feb. 7, Hamilton will travel to Cleveland, Ohio to take on the Lake Erie Monsters (AHL affiliate of the Colorado Avalanche) at Quicken Loans Arena at 7 p.m. in the fourth of six matches between the clubs this season as well as the second of three games in Cleveland. The 'Dogs are 1-2-0-0 against the Monsters so far this season.
