Fri., Oct. 24 - PENGUINS 5 vs. Springfield 0
In his first start of the season, rookie goaltender Matt Murray made 21 saves for his first career win and shutout as a pro. Nick Drazenovic and Bryan Rust paced the offense with two goals each.
Sat., Oct. 25 - Penguins 1 at HERSHEY 4
Tomas Kundratek recorded three assists and the Bears converted three times on the power play to triumph in their home opener, 4-1, over W-B/Scranton. Jayson Megna cut Hershey's lead down to one just 24 seconds into the second period when he potted his second goal of the season.
Sun., Oct. 26 - PENGUINS 3 vs. Binghamton 2
First-year defenseman Derrick Pouliot gathered his first goal as a pro as part of a two-point night (1G-1A) that saw the Penguins edge the Senators, 3-2. Also making his first start of the season, Eric Hartzell stopped 21-of-23 for the victory.
The Week Ahead
Wed., Oct. 29 - Penguins at LEHIGH VALLEY
Lehigh Valley (4-2-0-0) had won four of its first five contests before falling to Hershey on Sunday. Goalie Rob Zepp has a record of 4-0-0 in four starts this season. Scott Laughton is tied for first among AHL rookies with five goals and tied for second with seven points (5G-2A).
Fri., Oct. 31 - Penguins at NORFOLK
Sat., Nov. 1 - Penguins at NORFOLK
The Admirals (2-5-0-0) have dropped four in a row after going to 2-1-0-0 to begin the 2014-15 season. Norfolk has been outscored, 13-3, in the first period. Two of Chris Wagner's four goals have come while shorthanded.

- Rookie Bryan Rust set a team season high, scoring three points (2G-1A) in the team's 5-0 win over Springfield on Friday.
- In their four wins, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has outscored teams by a margin of 14-4.
- Matt Murray became the first Penguins goalie to post a shutout in his first start of the season, since Scott Munroe did so versus the Connecticut Whale on Oct. 9, 2011.
- Andrew Ebbett is on a three-game point streak (1G-3A).
- The Penguins are 3-0-0-0 when Tom Kostopoulos or Scott Wilson registers a point.
- Nick Drazenovic is one point away from his 300th as a pro.
