
Pelicans wish Pace best of luck tonight

Pensacola, Fla. - The Pensacola Pelicans are proud to have their flagship radio station AM 1620, sister station of Cat Country 98.7, broadcast tonight's Class 5A State High School baseball championship game between the Pace Patriots and Tampa Hillsborough beginning at 6:00 p.m. central time from Sarasota, Florida.
The Pelicans play at Coastal Bend tonight at 7:05 p.m. Fans will be able to listen for updates on tonight's Pelicans game from the "Voice of the Pelicans" Jay Burnham during the state high school baseball game. The play-by-play action of the Pelicans game will begin immediately after the state high school baseball game.
"We are excited for Pace High School and the Pace community and wish the Patriots the best of luck in tonight's state championship game. Now local baseball fans will be able to listen to tonight's State High School Championship game and follow the Pelicans on the road at the same time." said Pelicans COO/General Manager George Stavrenos.
The Pelicans will return home to Pelican Park to begin a six game home stand vs. the El Paso Diablos on Tuesday, May 23 at 6:35 p.m. It is the first "Tuesday Madness" of the season. Fans can purchase a ticket to the game and "All you can eat pizza and all you can drink Pepsi" for $12 (pizza and beer $15). The special is from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Fans can purchase individual home game tickets for the Pelicans in person at the Pelicans office located at 913 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Suite 8 in Gulf Breeze or at www.pensacolapelicans.com Pelicans season tickets are still available for the biggest nights of the 2006 season for as low as $50.
Fans can purchase season tickets, group tickets, individual home game tickets, birthday parties, and corporate sponsorships by calling the Pelicans office at 934-8444.
