
Pelicans sweep Aviators, move within half game of first

For the second day in a row the game at Pelican Park was delayed as lightning and rain threatened but only dropped a few harmless drops. The weather didn't stop the fans from coming out as 1,253 showed up for the series finale between the Pensacola Pelicans and Coastal Bend Aviators. Pensacola showed up ready to move into a half game of first place in the South Division. Pensacola did just that winning 4-2, sweeping the first place Aviators.
