3B Trino Aguilar went 3-for-4 with a homerun and three RBI to lift Pensacola to a 7-2 victory over Coastal Bend. RF Juan Rocha and C Bud Woodruff combined for three hits and two RBI to add to the Pelicans attack. Starting pitcher Todd Androsko allowed just two runs on eight hits over eight innings to pick up the win and improve to 3-1 on the season. C Steve Morales led the Aviators at the plate with two hits, a homerun and two RBI. The homerun was Morales' 4th of the season.

Shreveport 7, Fort Worth 3

Starting pitcher Erik Wikstrom allowed just three runs on six hits over eight innings of work to help Shreveport past Fort Worth 7-3. With the win, Wikstrom improves to 5-2 on the season. At the plate, LF Todd Self went 3-for-3 with an RBI to lead the Sports. SS Enohel Polanco chipped in two hits and two RBI for Shreveport in the game as well. Fort Worth C Adam Miller went 3-for-4 and scored two runs in the losing cause.

RF Wil Quintana went 3-for-5 with an RBI to lead St. Joe to a 6-4 victory over Lincoln. Relief pitcher Jamie Tricoglou picked up the win, 4th of the year and relief pitcher Vinnie DeChristofaro picked up his 1st save of the season for the Blacksnakes. 3B Jay Yaconetti went 2-for-4 with a homerun to lead Lincoln in the losing cause.

1B Abner Arroyo went 2-for-5 with a homerun and four RBI to lift Sioux Falls past El Paso 11-7. 3B Chris Hall added a homerun and two RBI to the Canaries attack as well. In all, Sioux Falls pounded out 15 hits in the game. Starting pitcher Tony Cogan picked up the win to move to 3-1 on the season. C Matt Eichel went 2-for-5 with two RBI to lead the Diablos at the plate in the losing effort.

Sioux City 10, St. Paul 4 (11 innings)

@ St. Paul, MN. Time: 3:19 Attendance: 6,448

W: Mike Nunes (1-3) L: Kevin Rival (2-2) S: NONE

HR: SC-Ryan Gripp (5), Kevin Henry (10)

Sioux City scored six in the top of the 11th inning to blow the game open and take a 10-4 victory over St. Paul. 3B Ryan Gripp and LF Jorge Moreno combined for six hits and an RBI to lead the Explorers at the plate. Kevin Henry hit his 10th homerun in the game for Sioux City as well. Despite the loss, St. Paul was not short on offense in the game. The Saints pounded out 14 hits, but could only manage to push four runs across the plate.
