St. Paul rallied for two runs off Explorers' relief pitcher Sean Kramer in the bottom of the ninth inning to beat Sioux City. 2B Josh Renick led the way at the plate for the Saints going 3-for-4 with a run scored and a RBI. C Billy Cox also added to the Saints offense by having a 2-for-4 outing with a run scored and a RBI. Mike Meyer pitched a terrific game for St. Paul en route to his fifth win of the season. Meyer went the distance allowing three runs on seven hits with five strikeouts. For the Explorers, 3B Ryan Gripp went 2-for-4 with two runs scored in the losing cause.

Sioux Falls 7, El Paso 6

HR: EL-Logan Wood (2); SF-Chad Hermansen (7)
LF Chad Hermansen went 2-for-3 with three runs scored and a RBI, which included hitting his seventh home run of the season, to lead the Canaries to a sweep of the Diablos. RF Dustin Delluchi also added two hits in five at-bats with a RBI to aid the Sioux Falls offense. Canaries starting pitcher Aaron Garrison evened his record at 3-3 with the win. Garrison went six innings giving up five runs, all earned, on six hits with four strikeouts. LF Logan Wood was the star at the plate for El Paso this afternoon going 3-for-3 with a run scored and three RBI and hitting his second home run of the season.

Fort Worth 10, Shreveport 4

HR: FW-Palmer Karr (2), Matt Spencer (3)
RF Carlos Adolfo, LF Palmer Karr, and CF Matt Spencer went a combined 6-for-14 with six runs scored and seven RBI to help the Cats roll over the Sports. SS Kip Harkrider also had a good day at the plate for Fort Worth by getting three hits in four at-bats and scoring a run. Kevin Hull got his fourth victory of the year going 6 2/3 innings allowing three runs on eight hits and collecting two strikeouts. For Shreveport, 1B Justin Humphries and C Tommy Bryant each had two hits with both scoring a run and driving in one as well.

St. Joe 14, Lincoln 9

HR: SJ-Ben Thomas (3), Wil Quintana (10); LN-Cory Harris (10)
RF Wil Quintana goes 3-for-5 with two runs scored and five RBI, along with his 10th homerun of the season, to lead the Blacksnakes to a victory over the Saltdogs and take two of three in the series. Blacksnakes' SS Jimmy Mojica and 1B Mark Burke also had three hits apiece in a game which saw both teams combine for 23 runs on 35 hits. St. Joe reliever Matt Johnson picked up the victory, his fourth of the season, pitching 1 2/3 innings allowing one run on a hit with a strikeout. 1B Brett Cooley and 3B Jay Yaconetti combined to go 8-for-9 with two runs scored and three RBI for Lincoln in the loss.

Pensacola 4, Coastal Bend 2

SS Carlos Mendoza's three-run home run in the bottom of the fifth inning erased a 2-1 deficit and aided the Pelicans to a victory over the Aviators and a sweep in the series. Pensacola is now only a ½ game behind Coastal Bend in the South Division. Pelicans' starting pitcher Jake Vose picked up his first victory of the season going six innings giving up two runs on five hits with two strikeouts. Tony Pierce notched his ninth save of the season, which now puts him into a tie for second place in saves with St. Paul's Matt Hammons. 2B Matt Creighton was the offense for Coastal Bend tonight as he went 1-for-4 with two RBI that included his third home run of the season.
