Pelicans, Mudcats to Play Back-To-Back Doubleheaders June 5, 6

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (MAY 29, 2015) -- The Carolina League announced that the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, will play a pair of doubleheaders against the Carolina Mudcats, Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, during the first weekend of June. The doubleheaders are making up two of the three games from the series scheduled for May 12-May 14 that was not played, following the Mudcats' bus wreck the morning of Tuesday, May 12. The doubleheaders will be played Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6. Game one of each doubleheader will have a 5:05 p.m. ET first pitch.

Anyone with tickets or vouchers for any of the three games from the originally scheduled series on Tuesday, May 12 through Thursday, May 14, can exchange them for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any future Pelicans regular season game during the 2015 regular season or beyond. Tickets will be subject to availability.

Tickets for the regularly scheduled game on Friday, June 5 can be used for both games of the doubleheader on that day. Tickets for the regularly scheduled game on Saturday, June 6 can also be used for both games of the doubleheader on that day as well.
