Carolina Mudcats News Release

ZEBULON, NC - Atlanta Braves outfielder Joey Terdoslavich will start for the Mudcats tonight in Zebulon at Five County Stadium as he continues a MLB rehabilitation assignment through the Braves farm system. Terdoslavich will start in left for the finale of Carolina's three game series with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans.

Terdoslavich was called up last September by the Braves and was 3-for-10 with two doubles and two RBI over nine games. He also appeared in 55 games with Atlanta during the second half of the 2013 season and hit .215/.315/.266 with 17 hits, four doubles and four RBI.

Terdoslavich is the first rehabbing Major Leaguer assigned to the Mudcats by the Braves since the new player development agreement was finalized this past off-season. He was originally placed on the disabled list on April 5 with a sprained left wrist.

The Carolina Mudcats are the Class A Advanced affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. The 2015 "Braves New World" season is the first for the Mudcats as an affiliate of the Atlanta Braves and their fourth straight in the historic Carolina League. First established in 1991, the Carolina Mudcats are in their 25th straight season of baseball at Five County Stadium in Zebulon, N.C.
