LAST WEEK: The Pride went 0-1-1 during its pre-season schedule, losing in regulation at Columbia on Friday and falling in a shootout to South Carolina at the Lion's Den on Saturday.
Friday, October 15 @ Columbia Inferno 9 PRIDE 1
Columbia scored six goals in the second period en route to a 9-1 win in the pre-season opener for both teams. Allan Sirois scored the lone goal of the night for the Pride, ripping a shot past Columbia goaltender Dave Marlin 38 seconds into the third period.
Saturday, October 16 v. South Carolina Stingrays 3 PRIDE 2 (SO)
Joey Tenute gave the Stingrays an early lead, converting on a power play 11:52 into the opening period. The Pride tied it 12:04 into the second period, as Kyle Kidney slid a rebound past Kirk Daubenspeck. Pat O'Leary gave the Pride their first lead of the night just under four minutes later. Pee Dee held that lead until late in the third period when Mark Ardelan scored the second power-play goal of the night for South Carolina. After a scoreless overtime, the game went to a shootout. Brad Parsons scored in the third round for the Stingrays, and Darryl Green scored for the Pride in round five. In the sixth round, Ed Courtenay beat Sebastien Laplante and Kevin Cooper's shot was stopped by Daubenspeck to give the win to South Caroliona.
THIS WEEKS' GAMES
Friday, October 22 v. Atlantic City 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den
The Pride meet the Boardwalk Bullies for the only time this season, and for just the second time ever. Pee Dee defeated Atlantic City 4-3 in a shootout on January 26, 2003 at Boardwalk Hall. Last season, the Bullies went 47-19-6 for 100 points and finished in second place in the Northern Division.
PROMOTIONS: Fans are encouraged to come early and tailgate in the civic center parking lot from 5-7. Both 103X and Eagle 92.9 will be doing live remotes, and local band Paradigm will be providing entertainment. Plus, all fans in attendance at the game receive a free rally towel courtesy of Wachovia Bank.
Saturday, October 23 v. Augusta 7:30 p.m. at the Lion's Den
Pee Dee and Augusta meet for the first of seven times this season. Last season, the Pride went 3-1-1 against the Lynx, and all-time Pee Dee is 30-10-5 against Augusta. The Lynx went 32-33-7 last year and finished in sixth place in the Central Division.
PROMOTIONS: The first 2,500 fans in attendance receive a 2004-2005 Pride magnetic schedule courtesy of SCE&G. Following the game, the Pride in conjunction with Archadeck of the Pee Dee, BB&T, Griggs-Floyd & Grantham, and Micky Finn's present the Blue Dogs in concert. The Pride, Outback Steakhouse and Honda of South Carolina are teaming up for a golf tournament, with all of the proceeds benefiting the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Pee Dee Area. The tournament is at Governor's Run Golf Club in Lamar, with lunch served at 11:15, and a shotgun start at 12:15. Teams are filling up fast. PRIDE ON THE AIR
All Pride away games can be heard on WDAR Sunny 105.5 FM and on-line at www.peedeepride.com with the Voice of the Pride, Joe Babik. Each broadcast begins 20 minutes prior to faceoff with the Palmetto Chiropractic Pre-Game Show.

Tickets for all Pride home games can be purchased at the Florence Civic Center Box Office (10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday; through the second period on game nights), all TicketMaster outlets, by phone at (843) 679-9333 or on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. In addition, group tickets are now available for all Pride home games.
