Pats Ink Goaltender Matthew Kieper

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have signed goaltender Matthew Kieper to a WHL Standard Player Agreement.

Kieper was drafted by the Pats in the third round, 63rd overall, in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft.

"We are excited to get Matthew signed," said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. "We were happy to draft him in the third round in May and we see him as a big part of our future."

Kieper (5'11, 152), played with the Winnipeg Sharks of the WBAAA last year, putting up a 2.06 goals against average, a .931 save percentage and one shutout in 17 games.
