
Patriots Win 3-2 in 11 Innings over Riversharks

Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots (18-11, 65-34) defeated the Camden Riversharks (12-16, 35-63) 3-2 in 11 innings Thursday evening from TD Bank Ballpark. Second baseman Jeff Dominguez hit a RBI walk-off single to propel the Patriots to victory.
In the bottom of the sixth inning the Patriots plated a pair of runs to take a 2-0 advantage. A run scored on shortstop Brandon Chaves' throwing error and another run was plated via a RBI single by left fielder Ty Wright.
Camden evened the score at 2-2 in the top of the ninth inning. Outfielder Cory Harrilchak made a fielding error that led to a run while another run crossed via a RBI sacrifice by Chaves.
The walk-off win was Somerset's sixth of the year and they improved to 8-0 in extra innings.
Matt Sommo (4-1) earned the win in relief. John Lujan (0-1) sustained the loss in relief.
