Pasquale Recalled to AHL Chicago

Goaltender Edward Pasquale has been reassigned to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League from the Gwinnett Gladiators by the Atlanta Thrashers of the National Hockey League.

Pasquale appeared in five games with the Gladiators after he was assigned to Gwinnett from Chicago on December 27th. He earned a 2-2-0 record and posted a 3.79 goals against average and a .904 save percentage with Gwinnett.

Pasquale has appeared in 11 games with the Wolves this season earning a 5-6-0 record while he recorded a 3.16 goals against average and an .892 save percentage.

The Toronto, Ontario, native skated with the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League during each of the past three seasons. He appeared in a 61 games and led the OHL in minutes played during the 2008-09 season. He notched a 3.02 goals against average and a .911 save percentage during the regular season with Saginaw.

The 6-foot-2, 218-pound netminder was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 4th round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft with the 117th overall pick.

The Gladiators are the AA affiliate of the Atlanta Thrashers and play all home games at the 11,355-seat Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth.
