BOISE, ID- The Idaho Steelheads (17-16-8) gave up three second period goals to the Victoria Salmon Kings (16-21-3) and fell to Victoria by a 4-0 score at Qwest Arena Sunday evening. The loss snaps Idaho's four-game unbeaten-in-regulation streak. Jase Weslosky started in net for Idaho for the fourth straight game. Kael Mouillierat was the only Steelhead to not have a minus rating in the contest.

Ryan Dingle darted through the left wing circle and sent a puck into the upper portion of the Idaho net to give the Salmon Kings a 3-0 lead at 16:39 of the second period.

Matt Stefanishion added an insurance goal for the Salmon Kings on a slapshot from the high slot area at 16:14 of the third period for the game's final goal; a tally that put Victoria on top 4-0.

Jase Weslosky stopped 25 of 29 in net for Idaho; he is now 6-6-0. David Shantz earned his first shutout of the season for the Salmon Kings; he is now 12-14-3.

Idaho hosts the conference and division-leading Utah Grizzlies in three games at Qwest Arena this week; the Steelheads and Grizzlies will do battle on 1/19, 1/21, and 1/22. All three games have a scheduled start time of 7:10 PM.
