Jackals Sign Defenseman Llewellyn

The Elmira Jackals announced Sunday that they have signed defenseman Tristin Llewellyn out of the University of Michigan (NCAA, D-1).

A native of Ann Arbor, Mich., Llewellyn set career highs with two goals, six assists and eight points in his junior year of 2009-2010 as the Wolverines won the CCHA Tournament. Llewellyn posted a career best +10 rating in his sophomore season of 2008-2009 and led Michigan with 90 penalty minutes while helping the team reach the NCAA Frozen Four in his freshman season of 2007-2008.
