Prince Albert, SK - The Prince Albert Raiders would like to congratulate goaltender Rylan Parenteau on being invited to the Vancouver Canucks Summer Development Camp.

The camp runs from July 4 to 7 in Shawnigan Lake, BC.

"I was ecstatic," Parenteau said of receiving the invitation. "I've been waiting for this opportunity for forever now and this is going to be an awesome chance to make that first step."

Parenteau, hailing from Saskatoon, is fresh off his second full season with the Raiders. In 55 games during the 2015-16 season, he compiled a 25-17-5-1 record with three shutouts, a 2.82 goals-against average and a 0.913 save percentage.

"Rylan truly is one of the hardest working kids the Raiders have had put on the uniform," said Raiders Director of Player Personnel Ron Gunville. "He has put a lot of work into developing into a top goalie in the WHL. The biggest thing with Rylan is he never takes a practice off. He always competes and it reflects in his game."
