Giants Release 2016/17 Regular Season Schedule

Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants released their 2016/2017 regular season schedule on Monday. The G-Men will kick-off their 16th season in the Western Hockey League when they face the Everett Silvertips on Friday, September 23rd, at the Langley Events Centre.

The WHL regular season will once again be comprised of 72 games for each club - 36 home and 36 away. The 36 Giants home games will consist of 13 Fridays, eight Saturdays, three Sundays, five Tuesdays, four Wednesdays, two Mondays and one Thursday.

Vancouver will play five of their first six games on home ice, welcoming Everett, the Prince George Cougars, the Seattle Thunderbirds, the Kamloops Blazers and the Victoria Royals to the LEC in the early portion of the season.

The Giants' longest home stand comes in late October and early November when the club will play six consecutive home games.

Vancouver's last home game of the year will be played on Saturday, March 18th, against the Kelowna Rockets, and the G-Men will conclude the season the following night on the road in Seattle.

Single game tickets will go on sale later in the summer.
