Vancouver, B.C. - The Vancouver Giants would like to congratulate defenseman Brennan Menell on being invited to the Philadelphia Flyers' development camp. The camp runs from July 5th-13th.

"We're really happy for Brennan," said General Manager Glen Hanlon. "This experience will surely give him added confidence as he prepares for an important year."

Menell, a native of Woodbury, Minnesota, led all Giants blue liners in scoring last season with 53 points (seven goals and 46 assists) in 69 games.

"As soon as I got the call, I was very excited," said Menell. "I'm very honoured. It's a very prestigious organization and to be invited to development camp by an NHL team is a dream of mine."

The G-Men signed Menell to a WHL Player Agreement on August 29, 2014 after he impressed in training camp as a free agent invitee.
