Panthers Reassign Brian Foster to San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO (January 17, 2012) - Florida Panthers Executive Vice President & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that goaltender Brian Foster has been reassigned to the San Antonio Rampage (AHL).

Foster, 24, has played for both Cincinnati of the ECHL and San Antonio this season. In 11 games for San Antonio, Foster is 4-6-0, with a 3.55 goals against average and an .888 save percentage. In eight games with Cincinnati, Foster went 7-1-0 with a 2.64 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. The Pembroke, New Hampshire, native was drafted by Florida in the fifth round (161st overall) in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

The Rampage will attempt to set a world record for most dogs at a sporting event on Saturday when they host the Peoria Rivermen for their fifth annual Pucks & Paws game at 7 p.m. at the AT&T Center.
