
B-Sens Announce Roster Moves

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that they have recalled forward Jack Downing from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.
Downing, 22, has posted 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points in 24 games with the Jackals this season.
This is Downing's fourth recall to Binghamton. The 6-3, 200-pound forward has appeared in 14 games for the B-Sens this season, recording one point (an assist).
Also today, the Binghamton Senators announced that they have signed defensemen Dan Henningson and Andrew Thomas to professional try out contracts.
Henningson, 28, has spent the majority of the season with the Chicago Express of the ECHL. In 27 games with the Express, Henningson has recorded three points (one goal, two assists) and 10 penalty minutes.
The 6-1, 190-pound defenseman has also appeared in six American Hockey League games this season with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins (five) and most recently the Rockford Icehogs (one).
A native of Edmonton, Alta., Henningson has appeared in 16 career AHL games with the Lake Erie Monsters, Rockford and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton recording two points (two assists) and six penalty minutes.
Thomas, 26, joins the B-Sens from the Trenton Titans of the ECHL. In 24 games with the Titans this season, Thomas has posted three assists and 12 penalty minutes.
The 6-2, 220-pound defenseman has also skated in nine AHL contests this season with the Adirondack Phantoms.
The Bow, N.H. native has appeared in 63 career AHL games with Adirondack, the Albany Devils, Iowa Chops, and Lowell Devils recording seven points (two goals, five assists) and 46 penalty minutes.
Thomas was a fourth-round selection (109th overall) by the Washington Capitals in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
The Binghamton Senators return to action Friday as they host the Hershey Bears at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are $18.50 for side seating, $17.50 for end seating.
