P-Bruins, WSKO team up for blood drive

The Providence Bruins and WSKO AM-790, The Score will host their second blood drive to benefit the Rhode Island Blood Center on Wednesday, March 3 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The drive will be held at the Rhode Island Blood Center at 405 Promenade St. in Providence.

Blood donors will receive a free pair of Providence Bruins game tickets, while supplies last. In addition, donors can enter to win an autographed Providence Bruins stick.

Bruin players Zdenek Kutlak, Ivan Huml and Milan Jurcina will be on hand for autographs and pictures from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Bruins return home to host "Bruin Pride Weekend", beginning on Friday, March 5 at 7:05 p.m., when they host the Hershey Bears. They also host the Portland Pirates that weekend, on Sunday, March 7 at 4:05 p.m. All fans at both games will receive a free Providence Bruins bumper sticker, courtesy of True Value Hardware.
