Monarchs Sign Milam To PTO

MANCHESTER, NH – The Manchester Monarchs, the AHL affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Tuesday signed defenseman Troy Milam to a professional tryout agreement. Milam, 23, has appeared in 54 games with the ECHL's Gwinnett Gladiators this season, recording 32 points (6-26=32) and 36 penalty minutes. The 6-foot, 188-pound rookie from Lake Orion, Michigan, has appeared in five games with the Monarchs this season, recording one point (1-0=1) and zero penalty minutes. Milam spent the last four years at Ferris State University, recording 79 points (21-58=79) and 217 penalty minutes in 155 games.

The Monarchs are in Lowell to face the Lock Monsters on Friday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. After that, their scheduled to face the Portland Pirates at the Cumberland County Civic Center on Saturday, March 6 at 2:05 p.m. The Monarchs return home on Wednesday, March 10 to host the Springfield Falcons at 7:05 p.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
