P-Bruins Release 2016-17 Regular Season Schedule

Providence Bruins News Release
Providence, RI - The Providence Bruins announced the team's 2016-17 regular season schedule today, highlighted by the season opener on Friday, October 14 against the Albany Devils at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.
On Friday, October 21 the P-Bruins will host the annual "Pink in the Rink Night" which supports fundraising for the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation.
The Providence Bruins will have a total of 76 regular season games, featuring multiple matchups against rivals Bridgeport Sound Tigers (12 games) and Hartford Wolf Pack (10). The P-Bruins will also play new AHL team the Springfield Thunderbirds 12 times throughout the 2016-17 season. The schedule also includes three "triple header" weekends (three consecutive home games Friday through Sunday) on November 4-6, February 17-19, and March 17-19. The home schedule wraps up on Sunday, April 9 against the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins, and the P-Bruins visit Hershey on Saturday April 15 to take on the Hershey Bears in the final game of the regular season.
