
P-Bruins Fall to Worcester Sharks in Overtime 4-3

Worcester, MA- The Providence Bruins fell to the Worcester Sharks tonight in the second game of their back-to-back match-ups this weekend.
The Sharks set the tone early on when Doherty scored just 3:08 into the first period. Six minutes later, Melker Karlsson flicked another one past Malcolm Subban. The Providence Bruins answered the goals by the Sharks when David Pastrnak found the back of the net at 15:43, with the assists going to Khokhlachev and Youds.
The Providence Bruins kept the momentum going in the 2 nd . 4:56 into the period, Jordan Caron netted a goal assisted by Pastrnak and Khokhlachev. The score remained tied 2-2 until left wing, Michael Haley of the Worcester Sharks got a breakaway goal assisted by Hamilton and Doherty at the 13:17 mark.
The 3 rd period saw very few whistles as both teams continued to battle. The score remained 3-2 for the majority of the period until Alexander Khokhlachev tied it up for the Providence Bruins with just 5.4 seconds left in regulation.
Both teams held their own through the overtime shift. With only 26.8 seconds left of overtime, Dylan DeMelo got the game winning goal for the Worcester Sharks with assists going to Fedun and Langlois.
