
Otters Weekly to Feature Evan the Otter, Urquhart, Walch

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The Evansville Otters are proud to announce that Evan the Otter, infielder Cory Urquhart, and reliever Trevor Walch will be guests on the Otters Weekly Radio Show on Monday, June 30 at 12 pm CT.
Otters Weekly is hosted by the team's radio announcer Mike Radomski each Monday at The Sports Book Bar and Grill (701 NW Riverside Drive, Evansville IN 47708)
Otters Weekly also airs live on WUEV 91.5 FM and online at WUEV.org .
Evansville was 4-1 during their homestand this week at historic Bosse Field, sweeping a doubleheader from the Florence Freedom and winning two of three games from the Schaumburg Boomers, the reigning Frontier League Champions.
Urquhart hit .272 this week for the Otters including a season-high two hit, two RBI game on June 28 against the Boomers. He has hit safely in five of his last seven games for the Otters.
Walch is 1-0 this season for Evansville with a 2.70 earned run average. He earned his first win of the season on Friday by going 3.2 scoreless innings against the Boomers, then followed it up with 5.2 innings on Sunday when he allowed one unearned run to Schaumburg.
Fans are encouraged to visit The Sports Book to watch the show live, meet the players and be eligible for free giveaways.
The players will meet with those in attendance, sign autographs and take pictures as well.
Evansville is off on Monday and Tuesday, before beginning a three-game, two-day homestand against the Frontier Greys on Wednesday. The teams will have a doubleheader on Wednesday, July 2, sponsored by Carson's Brewery. There will also be $ 1 hot dogs that night at Bosse Field. First pitch is set for 5:35 pm CDT. Thursday, July 3 is Edward Jones night with postgame fireworks. It is also Budweiser Thirsty Thursday with drinks specials of 16 ounces for $2, or 32 ounces for $4.
