Otters Game Rained Out On Saturday

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The first place Evansville Otters (54-34) were rained out on Saturday night against the Florence Freedom.
A lengthy afternoon rain storm created unplayable field conditions and the game was officially postponed at 8:00 pm CDT.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday at Bosse Field. Both games are scheduled for seven innings each with first pitch set for 4:05 pm CDT.
This will be the fourth consecutive time where Evansville will be involved in a doubleheader. They split a doubleheader at Rockford on Sunday, before winning both games of a doubleheader from Windy City on Wednesday and again from Florence on Friday.
Right-hander Connor Little (2-0, 0.90 ERA) will start for Evansville in game one on Sunday against Florence righty Chuck Weaver (6-6, 2.43 ERA). Fellow righty Edgar Lopez (1-0, 3.00 ERA) will pitch for the Otters in game two against lefty Dave Middendorf (5-7, 4.81 ERA).
It is Eastland Mall Labor Day Weekend at Bosse Field.

The game will also be broadcast live on WUEV 91.5 FM with the pregame show starting at 3:45 pm CDT.
