
Otters Begin Six Game Homestand on July 9

(EVANSVILLE, INDIANA) - The Evansville Otters are proud to announce upcoming promotions for their six-game, five-day homestand beginning on Wednesday, July 9 at Bosse Field.
The homestand starts on Wednesday with a doubleheader against the Traverse City Beach Bums. The doubleheader is sponsored by Carson's Brewery with two games scheduled for seven innings each. It is also $1 hot dog night at Bosse Field. The doubleheader will begin at 5:35 pm CDT.
The series against the Beach Bums ends on Thursday, July 10 with a special evening at Bosse Field. It is Budweiser Military Appreciation night. A scholarship will be awarded to a student of a military member and there will be postgame fireworks extravaganza sponsored by Working Distributors. It is also Budweiser Thirsty Thursday with 16 ounce drafts for $2 and 32 ounce drafts for $4. Fans can also enjoy 25 ounce beer cans for only $4, something not available on any other Otters game night. The evening will start with first pitch at 6:35 pm CDT.
Evansville begins a new three-game series on Friday, July 11 when they take on the Lake Erie Crushers. First pitch is 6:35 pm CDT.
Game two of the series will be on Saturday, July 12 when it is Central Labor Council Night. All union members who show their union badge will receive free admission for them and their immediate families. Game time is 6:35 pm CDT.
The series, homestand, and first half of the season comes to an end on Sunday, July 13. It is Otters Selfie Sunday and the Otter Pup Gang will have another fun filled activity at Bosse Field. First pitch is 5:05 pm CDT.
Fans can purchase tickets to any game of the homestand by calling the front office at 812-435-8686.
Reserve seats are $9 and general admission seats are $6.
Every game of the Otters homestand will be broadcast live on WUEV 91.5 FM. Fans can listen in to play by play announcer Mike Radomski and color commentator Bill McKeon each night with the pregame show starting 20 minutes before first pitch.
