
Otters Add Starting Pitcher

Evansville Otters News Release
Evansville, IN - The Otters officially added former University of Indianapolis pitcher Jordan Tiegs to the roster Wednesday. The right hander from Woodstock, Ontario went 5-5 with a 4.66 ERA in 14 starts for the Greyhounds in 2009. Tiegs struck out 81 batters in 83.0 innings while walking only 29. He is expected to start Wednesday's game against the River City Rascal's, who own the Frontier League's top offense.
To make room for Tiegs, the Otters released shortstop Felix Adamkiewicz. Adamkiewicz batted .070 in 19 games with the Otters.
