Lake Erie Crushers News Release
Ypsilanti, MI - Wednesday night's game between the Lake Erie Crushers and the Midwest Sliders has been cancelled due to unplayable field conditions at Oestrike Stadium.
The two teams waited out a 45 minute rain delay before starting action. But after a half inning was played, the umpires ruled that the game be cancelled for the safety of the players. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at All Pro Freight Stadium in Avon later this season.
The Crushers will return to action on Friday night when they open a three game series with the Florence Freedom. Game time at All Pro Freight Stadium is set for 7:05 PM.
