
Ottawa takes Vojta with first overall pick in Import Draft

The Ottawa 67's are very pleased to announce their selection of Jakub Vojta (Voy-oh-tah) first overall in the CHL Import Draft. Jakub is a 6' 193 lb defenseman from Sparta in the Czech Republic.
In a trade with the Barrie Colts Ottawa dealt Jakub Petruzalek for Barrie's 43rd pick overall and Ottawa selected Tibor Radulay from the Republic of Slovakia.
Brian Kilrea commented "We're very excited about bolstering our blue line with the addition of Jakub Vojta and Tibor Radulay is a promising left winger that plays a physical game and both are looking forward to coming to Ottawa and becoming a member of the 67's"
