Osprey Walk It off vs Billings, Four Games from First

In his third game in Missoula, Jose Curpa's RBI-single in the 10th pushed the Osprey (37-31, 17-13) over Billings (36-32, 21-9), 3-2 at Ogren Park at Allegiance Field Thursday night. The Osprey win makes it two in a row against Billings, moving the O's four games out of first.

Missoula's pitchers combined four 14 strikeouts, only allowing three walks. Left-hander Ezequiel De La Cruz (W, 2-1) held the Mustangs off the scoreboard in the final two innings, striking out the side in the 10th. Luis Mieses made his Osprey debut, striking out three batters in hitless, scoreless fashion in two innings.

Leading off the 10th, Curpa knocked a base hit into shallow left-center, giving Cesar Garcia enough time to score from 2nd. Thursday night's win made it two in a row against Billings for the Osprey, narrowing the Mustangs' lead to four games for first in the North, with eight games remaining.

In partnership with MiLB, LGBT Montana, Transvisible Montana, ABC Fox Montana and SWX, Friday night is PRIDE Night at Ogren Park, with the first 750 fans receiving a PRIDE rally towel.

A Family Pride Carnival gives fans bounce houses, a dunk tank, drag performances, games, and much more from 4:30-6:00 pm MDT. Friday is also Jacks Pub Friday Night Party, with gates opening to Ogren Park at 4.

Jacks Pub will have $2 Mystery Beer and $3 micro brews on tap leading up to first pitch against the Idaho Falls Chukars at 7:05 to begin a two-game series.
