
Ontario Reign Game Preview: Reign Rematch with Stars Tonight In Central Texas

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), square off against the Texas Stars tonight at 5:00 p.m. PT at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park in Cedar Park, Texas. Tonight is the third of four regular-season meetings between the two teams.
Back-to-Back Battles: The Ontario Reign opened a three-game in three-day weekend last night against the Stars, falling 5-4. Forward Justin Auger scored two goals for the Reign. Game Summary Close Call: With the 5-4 win last night, the Stars earned their first victory against the Reign in series history. Ontario holds a 7-1-0-0 all-time record against the Stars.
High-Flying Offense: Through two games in the head-to-head series, the Reign and Stars have combined for 20 goals.
Slowing Down the Stars: Defenseman Julius Honka rides a five-game point streak (three goals, four assists) heading into tonight's game. Forwards Cole Ully (three goals, two assists), Travis Morin (two goals, four assists) and Matej Stransky (three goals, two assists) are on four-game point streaks.
Busy Weekend: The Reign wrap up a three-game in three-day schedule tomorrow afternoon against the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas at 1:00 p.m. PT.
